Yes, we admit it: With all the highlights inside the Kröller, it's sometimes hard to leave the house. You will be up and out of the loungers in a flash when we tell you what adventures can be had in and around Gerlos. It is important to us that the children do a lot of outdoor activities. And there are plenty of opportunities for that around the hotel!
Latschenland
WITH AN INGENIOUS WOODEN MARBLE RAIL
The Latschenland at Isskogel is a play paradise at 1,950 metres above sea level with an animal enclosure, an adventure climbing route and the Latschensee with loungers to relax in. The two 150 metre long wooden marble runs are a real highlight. The lanes run parallel – whose ball will overcome the obstacles to the finish first?
High ropes course
A BALANCING ACT AT LOFTY HEIGHTS
Feel like discovering the forest from a completely new perspective? At the Gerlos high ropes course you can float from tree to tree and experience adrenaline kicks between the treetops. There are a total of 65 stations here with 17 (!!) Flying Foxes. A special course with 8 child-friendly stations has been set up especially with the very young in mind.
Abenteuerland
GERLOS IS THE PLACE TO BE
The adventure trail not only leads past the high ropes course, but also the forest playground with its suspension bridge and trampolines, the 3D archery course and the mountain bike training trail. The seven themed tree houses are a special feature in Gerlos Abenteuerland which include the walk-in honeycomb and the Hobbit House to the hunter´s hide.
Almparadies Gerlosstein
BACK TO THE ORIGINS
On the alpine promenade at the Erlebnisberg Gerlosstein you will learn everything about Zillertal culture and history and will be rewarded with a postcard panorama on the alpine pasture grandstand. A petting zoo and a large alpine playground will make little hearts beat faster. Just like the Almflieger, zip-wire with which you can whiz across the entire area at speeds of up to 50 km/h.
